We are constantly asked to add new knots to our knot apps. We certainly consider all suggestions and try to accomodate them into the app if it makes sense. We have already implemented over a dozen user suggested knots into the app. The following are outstanding requests that may possibly be added to Knots 3D in a future release. Feel free to suggest your favorite knot or second a motion for one listed below! Submit knot requests to http://nynix.com/support/. Drawing and animating each knot is time intensive so it may take months before your favorite knot is part of Knots 3D. Thanks for your patience! Knots 3D
This app can help even the most helpless Scouting washout tie a proper knot in a variety of situations. Tap on the type of knot preferred, and an animation plays. The two ends of the line or rope are colored blue and red so it is easy to see how the knot is tied.
Weekend anglers and boaters need not worry about forgetting knots again.

After the iPad 3 became available late last week several users informed me of a bug on the iPad 3 making Knots 3D unusable. We worked on a fix over the weekend and have submitted it to Apple for review and approval. It typically takes Apple about a week to approve new releases and updates so hopefully the latest version of Knots 3D including the Retina Display bug fix for iPad 3 should be available around March 26. I have asked Apple to expedite the fix so it may possibly be available before that. The good news is the release also includes over a dozen new knots along with the fix including: Alpine Butterfly, Truckers Hitch, Palomar Knot, and more.

Knots 3D has been accepted by Barnes and Noble for inclusion in their NOOK app store and has also been approved for installation on the popular NOOK Color and NOOK Tablet! It is currently the only Knot reference app available for NOOK devices.
